RAMM Aerospace announces that Transport Canada recently issued STC SA16-57 for Replacement Crew Seat Cushions and Dress Covers for Bombardier DHC-8 100 and 300 model aircraft. The DASH-8 Replacement Crew Seat Cushions and Dress Covers are just one of the many certification projects RAMM Aerospace has been working on, since adding a full range of engineering capabilities last year.
The Replacement Crew Seat Cushions and Dress Covers fit both the pilot or co-pilot positions and are offered as a completed assembly or as individual items. The Dress Covers are also compatible with other foam assemblies that are currently installed in the DHC-8 100 and 300 model aircraft.
“We decided to design the Replacement Crew Seat Cushion and Dress Covers so they can be installed in the pilot or co-pilot position, reducing the quantity of part numbers and inventory operators would have to stock,” explains RAMM Aerospace VP of Engineering Michael Petsche. “Listening to our customers and making product improvements as we design and certify a kit, is an important part of our development process.”
